1967 Oldsmobile cutlass 442 Project. *REAL 442 Original owners manual including Protecto plate. Car with original black license plates Paint code y2 (Saffron yellow) Now midnight blue. Equipped with the following options. Power steering, power drum brakes A/C (Not working but parts are all there) Power windows (all in working condition, They could used some lube) Power top (working condition) Speed warning Remote mirror Bench seat Column shift 400 ci. engine with C heads RH head is stamped V5000893 Original Quadrajet carb # 7027157 Date M6 Original Distributor number 1111042 Date 6H8 Engine runs great. Idles Smooth (Carb was rebuilt) Does not smoke 1 Freeze plug needs to be replaced (the easy one) Rear differential casting# 9783393 Date J096 Stamped SC (3:08 Gears) Not noisy, no clunks. Has boxed in trailing arms. TH400 Transmission (works nicely in all gears) Suspension has a clunk when turning sometimes. (I believe its a bad ball joint). *** IMPORTANT, Rear half of body has been replaced from the rear of the doors back. *** Looking at the frame it does not appear to have had a rear impact. Frame may have been replaced? Great floors, trunk has a little rust not sure if its worth replacing.(see pictures)Driver side fender has a spot of rust. Hood and trunk look good. Bottom of windshield area is showing signs of rust Bumpers have dents There are a few dents in the body panels as you can see (please study them). Note, small Cracks on RH side of frame just in front of wheel well. Frame does not look bent or buckled. I don't see any weld repairs on the frame. Interior dash is cracked. Instrument panel is cracked and it has an aftermarket radio. Seats are decent. Car drives nicely. Steering works good. Brakes have new brake lines and wheel cylinders. They work very well. Headlights and brake lights work. Top needs to be replaced. I don't think it would need much work to be a daily driver (freeze plug, ball joint and top).
