The First year for the Road Runner Convertible. Only 2128 Convertibles were produced in 1969. Of those, 1880 were equipped with the 383 and Only 769 had a 4-speed manual transmission. This is a rare Muscle Car to say the least!


Shown in its factory Scorch Red paint (Code R6), this Road Runner stands out in any crowd! The Fit & Finish is as good as it gets! All chrome and trim are immaculate! The power top is in excellent condition with no tares or runs. The top operates smoothly and without issue. The rear window is Glass! The boot is perfect and is shown in the trunk.


The 383ci engine starts, runs and idles like new! Shifting through all four gears is easy. Stopping is just as easy. There were not many options to speak of in these Runners however what it does have, works properly. They were made to Go Fast! This is an exceptional "Get-in-and Go Fast Muscle Car and a sure collectors item.


The interior is very basic and bone stock! The 4-speed shifter has no console. The seats are bench front and back. The original radio is the Music Master basic AM pushbutton radio which has been replaced with an upgraded version. The original is included in the sale. This RR has power steering, power front disc brakes, vent windows with dual chrome round sport mirrors, Beep-Beep horn, vented 383 hood with factory dual black wide hood stripes. Magnum 500 wheels ride on 15" Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires. Tires and brakes are like new. The Optimum Red Top AGM battery is new.


Built in St. Louis Missouri on April 16, 1969, this is a late run build date for the 1969 model year. The order number is 159416.
