1974 Triumph TR6 This is a running and driving PROJECT CAR Here's what I know about the car: Within the last 6 years or so, the car was repainted to British Racing Green from Red. The paint job is decent from 5 feet, but close inspection shows a repair on the trunk lid and sanding marks throughout. Its irrelevant if you just want this car as a driver. Frame and body are pretty rust free. I went over the usual spots with a magnet, and didn't find really any filler on the car. The only spots that I could see that could stand to be redone are the forward rear fenderwells. There are two sheetmetal repairs there that are substandard. Again, all this is moot if you just want this as a driver. Engine and rear differential were rebuilt recently, and has 175lbs compression on all cylinders. Carbs could use a little tuning, and the anti run-on valve is missing Biggest things the car needs: *Interior and top. Car has a bolt in roll bar, but if I were to keep this car, I would remove it. *Transmission shifts beautifully, and is a 4 speed with no EOD. The output shaft leaks a little bit, but I have the parts to fix that will go with the car. *Suspension bushings need replacing. *Front brakes pull to the right. I suspect the piston is sticking a little bit. *Tires all have decent tread, but are 20+ years old Car has a clean CT Title I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I have quite a few parts, service records, and books to go with the car as well as a great car cover.
