1988 JAGUAR XJSC V12 Cabriolet Somewhat rare, great running and driving condition car here. Not a lot of the cabriolets running around like this anymore. Really fun car - quite far from being a project, but will need a few things as you see fit. I personally could run it like it is for a long time and get some of the issues done with time and finding great mechanics that understand this car and it's nuances. We just replaced all the fuel lines and injector seals in the engine bay ($2k worth of work) to get this vehicle ready for sale, many of them were still original from 88 and that's not uncommon on these older Jags. They are hard to change, and expensive labor wise, but do last a very long time. Reason for sale you might ask...This is one of my dad's hobby cars but it's time to go due to his declining health concerns. Car could use a few more repairs if you were super nit picky about things and owning one of these amazing cars is a challenge in itself to be completely honest, which I am all about. Some things are very complex and requires a lot of knowledge, patience and yes, sometimes some deep pockets, but oh how much fun it is if you can afford this hobby. Driving it is so fun, and the looks you get with the thumbs up is pretty awesome. People often ask 'what year is that gorgeous baby' and stuff like that. If I was keeping it (I wish) I would replace the shocks on the car, probably a few up front suspension bushings and a few other things, but it's not awful so to speak. This was just inspected and worked on by a Jaguar specialist and we can talk about the repairs they are recommending if you're interested in this car, and I also have no problem showing you all the paperwork that we have on her. Along the years, this car has had a lot of great professional work done to it to keep it running, driving and looking great (including a great original color paint job refreshed) and it's in fact currently sitting on brand new tires too. Documented mileage.
