Second Generation Ford Mustang (1974–1978)

Second Generation Ford Mustang for sale.
The Mustang II — built on the Pinto platform during the energy crisis. Smaller, lighter, and (for most of its run) without a V8 option. Often dismissed by enthusiasts, but the 1976-1978 Cobra II and 1978 King Cobra have a cult collector following, and the 1977-1978 5.0L V8 cars are the only V8 Mustangs of the era. Mustang II front-suspension subframes are still a popular hot-rodding swap.
