Sixth Generation Ford Thunderbird (1972–1976)

Sixth Generation Ford Thunderbird for sale.
The largest Thunderbird ever built, stretching past 225 inches and tipping well over two tons. It shared its body with the Lincoln Continental Mark IV and leaned all the way into brougham luxury. Engines were the 429 and the big 460 V8. Sales peaked near 87,000 in 1973 despite the oil crisis. These are big-block highway cruisers, cheap to buy and expensive to feed.
