Third Generation (Bullet Bird) Ford Thunderbird for sale.
The projectile-shaped Bullet Bird is the jet-age Thunderbird, and it paced the 1961 Indianapolis 500. The 390 FE V8 was standard, and the 1962-63 M-code added triple two-barrel carburetors for 340 hp. The Sports Roadster of those years fitted a fiberglass tonneau over the rear seats and Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. Genuine M-code and Sports Roadster cars are the ones to chase.
